ISCON1000
It's Black and White
Iscon1000 uses a proprietary infrared image analysis technology. Because the human body naturally radiates heat, Iscon1000 scans for temperature differences on the body’s surface, or for temperature imbalances between the body, clothes and any hidden objects. Because all objects radiate heat and resist temperature change differently, Iscon1000’s image analysis technology is capable of detecting minute temperature differences of hidden objects regardless of the organic or inorganic nature of the substance. Once the presence of an object is detected, the subject may be held for further screening.

With infrared technology, temperatures a represented in shades. Cooler objects are black. Warmer objects are white. And, infrared scanning technology is completely passive. Unlike other systems, it applies no external radiation (other than heat). It simply analyzes the surface of the body for temperature differences.

Iscon1000 is designed perform the function of a pat-down, in a less invasive, more expedient way. Because the system is designed to screen subjects for multiple threats it maximizes throughput and minimizes cost per transaction.

Simplicity Works Best
The fact is, the best solutions are frequently the simplest ones. Iscon1000’s straightforward approach is poised to revolutionize an industry. By distilling a technical problem and rethinking the challenge, a once complicated and cumbersome technological process has been refined into a safe, straightforward and highly functional process.

Threat detection is a serious and complex business. And, Iscon1000 matches the functionality of any existing dual-threat portal on the market. And it does so without many of the serious drawbacks that handicapped the previous generation of technology.
